Escargot
Amazing! The Escargot are so delicious. This is a must have every time I eat at Pamplona. Most people are scared to try them, but I promise if you try these you will be addicted. The fabulous service and atmosphere make the dish even better. It's a must have dish that should get more attention.
Tuna Tiradito
This dish was like a party in my mouth! The sweetness of the honeydew melon, combined with the spiciness of the jalapeno, and the fresh, buttery smoothness of the rare tuna... YUM! I love this new addition to the menu!
Garlic Shrimp
Literally the best prepared shrimp in Louisiana, period. Pamplonas never misses!!!
Castilian Mushrooms
Cannot go and not get these mushrooms! They are a MUST HAVE. Mouth watering good. Once you eat every one of them (without sharing because they're that good) you'll find yourself dipping the duckfat fries in the juice because you won't be able to get enough of the taste. Fair warning, maybe pass up on this if you're on a first date because you won't be able to stop yourself from slurping whatever juice is left at the bottom - Thankfully I'm married so I'm safe from judgement.
Mac-n-Smoked Gouda
I've been to Pamplona's more times than I can count, and I (along with multiple people at the table) order the mac-n-smoked gouda each and every time. There's nothing else like it in Lafayette. If you are a mac-n-cheese lover, this dish is a must try! It has yet to disappoint and is always a favorite at the table.
Escargot
Escargot have to be prepared correctly to really appreciate the delicate taste. Pamplona does that. The herb, butter and garlic don't over power, instead they enhance the flavor. Be open to new things and try this dish.
Duck Fat Fries
This is a must have every time we visit. They're a perfect accompaniment to any dish on the menu
Wagyu
Me and my partner visit every time we are in town and for our anniversary we decided to treat ourselves to the Wagyu. It was amazing. It was so tender and the taste was out of this world. We spoke about it nearly every day the week following and have brought it up multiple times since then
Vegetable Flatbread
lovely dining experience, even has a few things for vegetarians like myself. I always love to bring my friends here as the atmosphere is unmatched!
Mac-n-Smoked Gouda
I have been raving about the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese since I can remember going here as a kid with my family. The food is as good as the unique fun vibe and it's own little cultural addition as a staple of Lafayette cuisine.
